Hi everyone,

Due to my lack of experience in the agency world I would like to pose a question to all those who've been "around the block".

My question is this:

When chasing a client who you think that you can do a great job for and their marketing director (who is busy) says send me an executive summary of your ideas and we'll see...

Now my first thought is - no. I will send you an executive summary of our company and our accomplishments, including the research that we did to uncover potential weaknesses in your marketing plan etc..but I won't put our ideas in there.

I was wondering what should I put in this executive summary? And in any presentations afterwards? Should I even mention the ideas we have or just say these are your weaknesses and we can help you with them - only mentioning the ideas after we have the signed contract????

How do you go about the whole winning the client process? What do you say in your presentations? Any tips?

thanks very much for your help in advance!!!!
